I just love winter photoshoots, and was so happy when my friend Samantha asked me to photographer her and her sweet girls on their visit here from Saskatchewan. It was a very cold day, I think the windchill was around -35, but we found the perfect spot for some gorgeous light and a place we could warm up in between spots - a barren skate chalet with no one other than the poor guy who had to clean the snow off the ice. The snow covered trees would have made a gorgeous backdrop but the strong winds kept us inside for most of the session except for a few brave shots at the end.
