This post is way overdue, but what would the holiday season be without a bout of the flu! Finally feeling back to normal and ready to get all caught up just in time to spend some time with my little ones and family over Christas. Since Melanie's session fell during a long December cold snap that saw days and days below -20, we were forced inside for most of her session. Luckily, the Mosaic Centre in south Edmonton is full of gorgeous light and beautiful architecture, the perfect spot for this session. We had limited space to work with as there was a little event going on all around us, but this sweet family was getting awww's from everyone once they snuggled up on the stairs together, and little Averly did great in between shots waving hello to everyone as little ones that age love to do. After we got some shots inside, Melanie bravely let me put her in a long red dress and pose her outside in the freezing cold - we were outside for mere minutes, but the results were amazing, Melanie looked absolutely stunning against the winter backdrop.
