YOU NEED PORTRAITS
WITH YOUR BABY

Years in business as a photographer

I fell in love with babies before I ever had my own. When I was 11, my first little brother came home as a 4-pound preemie, and I was completely captivated. Even then, I understood how quickly time moves—and how precious those early days are.

But becoming a mom changed everything. Life after babies felt like a beautiful kind of chaos—messy, emotional, and fleeting. I started documenting everything, filling our home with photos that help us hold on to the little moments that pass too fast.

That love for preserving memories led me here. As a newborn photographer, safety is always my top priority. I’ve trained with industry leaders like Amy McDaniel and Kelly Brown to ensure every baby is handled with care. Clients often call me a “baby whisperer,” which I take as the highest compliment.

But more than anything, I want every mother who walks into my studio to feel at peace—seen, supported, and celebrated. We live in a world that asks moms to do it all and make it look easy. Here, you don’t have to. You just get to be present.

Do I always feel camera-ready? Not even close. But I get in the photo anyway—because I want my kids to remember how deeply they were loved. And I hope you will, too.

KELSIE KELLY YOUR EDMONTON NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER WHO'S BABIES GREW UP TOO FAST

WHETHER YOUR BABY IS FIVE DAYS OLD OR ALMOST TWO

Here's why I take photos

Take the photos

It's Worth It!

I cannot recommend Kelsie enough. She is amazing!! She’s been photographing our family for almost 8 years. It’s not just the photos that I absolutely love but it’s also her process. She makes the photo shoot so comfortable and effortless. We love her!

About The Experience

Time to Exhale …

When new parents inquire, they tell me they’re nervous about the baby crying, or about looking tired.

But when they get their photos, they’re always surprised by how calm it feels and how peaceful it looks!

The room is quiet, warm, and slow on purpose.

I follow your baby’s lead, settle in where you are, and give you space to just breathe.

You’ll walk away feeling like someone finally saw this moment for what it really is: hard & beautiful.

Some Favorites...

I’m based in West Edmonton, Alberta, where I live with my family and run my cozy, private portrait studio. I’ve been photographing babies and families full time since 2010, and it’s been the most rewarding journey.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me watching my girls play volleyball, taking long walks with my husband, or being dog mom to our shepherd cross.

Motherhood is wild, beautiful, messy, and full of meaning—and it brings me so much joy to capture that for the families I work with. I would be honoured to help tell your story.

Thinking about working together but not local to Edmonton? I’m always happy to travel within Alberta and beyond, and I’d love to help plan your session—even if it means hopping on a plane.

Let’s create something beautiful together.

Raising tiny humans is beautiful and hard

Sometimes when I’m photographing a newborn, I catch myself wondering what kind of world they’ll grow up in.

Will they feel seen? Will they be accepted, celebrated, and loved exactly as they are?

That’s what I hope for—always.

In my studio, every family is welcome. Every story is valued. This is a safe, inclusive space for all—regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, culture, religion, or family structure.

I believe in kindness, equality, and the simple truth that love makes a family. I wish it didn’t have to be said, but it does—and I’ll keep saying it proudly.

You belong here. Your story matters. And I’d be honoured to help you tell it.

Five Fun Facts

1. I’m inspired by soft light, layered textures in whites and neutrals, timeless black and white tones—and most of all, by you loving on your babies.

2. I once lived on the Upper East Side of New York City as an au pair for three energetic school-aged boys. I was just 20, and that experience shaped so much of who I am today. It taught me independence, patience, and how to navigate a new city (and life) with heart.

3 I am 40! Yes I wish I started my photography business when I was much younger but it took me becoming a mom to really find this passion.

4. For my 40th birthday I did boudoir photos with Bare by Brina (all the photos of me on this page...lots I can't share here). It was such an amazing experience and something I encourage every woman to do for themselves at least once!

The most important fact, though?

5.  I love what I do. This is my full-time career, and every baby I photograph brings me back to my own motherhood journey. These moments are fleeting, and I’m honored to help you hold onto them.
