I absolutely love to photographer families in their homes. I do all of my newborn sessions in home, but only get to do a handful of in home family sessions; something that I hope changes as lifestyle photography gains more popularity. An in home lifestyle session involves just hanging out in the rooms you usually do, eating, cooking, rolling around on the bed, or getting ready for a nap; beautiful authentic moments that really tell your family's story.

The Longman family invited me into their home a couple weeks ago, and I had so much fun watching them with their sweet baby boy Evan, who was so full of smiles, but was ready for a nap by the end of our session. Their home was so gorgeous that I think I made sure to shoot in almost every room! I have never seen so many photos on the wall, amazing gallery walls in every room- so inspiring!
